there is a thai massage place right by where i work now in malibu. i walk by there almost every day to go get lunch at subway or kfc or mcdonalds.

the other day i actually saw one of the thai workers going into the shop, she had this grin on her face and looked at me sideways, like she was trying to invite me in.

i just stared at her a bit, then walked on by.

if she knew i was thai, how would that grin have been different?
